AU-AGRO's Amelíe Beuchel and I-GIS's Niel-Peter Jensen recently participated in the latest TargWet meeting held in Denmark. TargWet, a project led by Aarhus Universitet's Mogens H. Greve, GEUS, and SEGES Innovation, aims to accurately identify CO2 emission hotspots in agricultural areas with drained peatlands.

During the meeting, the significance of detailed information, provided by tools developed in ReDoCO2, was emphasized. Amélie Beucher introduced the new Danish Low-Lying Soils map, highlighting its uncertainties at the field level. A comparison between the map and sensor data showcased the differences vividly.

ReDoCO2 presented their mapping concept, sparking considerable interest among attendees. We anticipate engaging discussions on optimizing the utilization of these valuable tools.
